Learn how the students in today’s CPM program are
approaching critical issues impacting our State.
Students in Auburn Montgomery’s CPM program, comprised of employees working in state agencies across Alabama, have spent much of the program year researching and working toward solutions to critical issues identified by state leaders. The critical issues center on concerns that have the potential to impede the state’s forward movement or adversely impact citizens in Alabama.
The 2009 CPM Presentation White Papers Explore:
“The students in AUM’s Certified Public Manager (CPM) program spearheaded an initiative to review all Alabama Career Centers across the state. Their findings solidified some of the current processes and programs working well to assist Alabamians seeking employment. More importantly, their research and data created viable and inexpensive improvements that are being implemented to increase the value of services the Alabama Career Centers provide. Having an outside group of professionals with varying backgrounds in state government provide our agency with free consulting was priceless. I will continue to look to the CPM program as a resource for my organization.”
